A stunning series of rare images that capture the emotions of love and empathy are being sold by a prestigious picture agency.
The 72 prints are being sold in a five day event starting today and capture a variety of subjects including a young sheepherder in Africa and Marilyn Monroe filming a a scene for the 1962 movie misfits.
Other enchanting pictures include elephants crossing a lake in Thailand, children playing football next to the Berlin Wall and African American couples enjoying fireworks on July 4 during the midst of the civil rights movement.
The prints are owned by the agency Magnum Photos, who represent some of the world’s most renowned photographers.
They have documented many of the world’s major events since 1930 covering stories concerning politics, disasters and conflict.
